Privacy Policy

Mind Extension LLC built the ReliefMix app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Mind Extension LLC at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at ReliefMix unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect various types of information in connection with the services we provide. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

A. Information You Provide Voluntarily (When You Create an Account):

If you choose to create an optional user account within the App to back up your data, we collect the following information from you:

• Email Address: Used for account creation, login, and communicating with you about your account.
• User-Created Data: This is the data you generate and choose to back up within the App. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • “Custom” Affirmations, including audio recordings that are saved in the app
  • User-created “Mixes”, including customized audio mixes and their configuration
  • Custom pictures added through the in-app picture search. We do not backup pictures added from your device.
  • User-created Playlists, custom frequencies, and brainwaves
  • Affirmations generated using the built-in “AI Affirmation Generator”, including the user-specified configuration used in the generation process (goal, category, tone, perspective, language…).

B. Information Collected Automatically:

When you use our App, certain information is automatically collected, which may include unique device identifiers, IP addresses, operating system information, and app usage data. We use third-party services that collect this data on our behalf.

Error Reporting and Performance Monitoring (via Sentry.io):
We use Sentry.io for crash reporting and performance monitoring. When a crash occurs or a performance issue is detected, Sentry may automatically collect:

• Device information (e.g., device model, OS version).
• App information (e.g., app version, app state).
• Crash data (e.g., stack traces, error messages).
• Performance metrics (e.g., loading times, interaction responsiveness).
• Unique identifiers (generated by Sentry, or your device ID).
• IP address (for general location context of errors).
  This data helps us identify and fix bugs, and improve the App’s stability and performance. We strive to anonymize or minimize personal data collected through Sentry. You can review Sentry’s privacy policy at https://sentry.io/privacy/

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions (via RevenueCat):
We use RevenueCat to manage and track in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects information related to your purchases and entitlements, including:

• Purchase history (e.g., what you’ve purchased, subscription status).
• App Store Receipt data (used to validate purchases).
• Unique identifiers (e.g., device ID, RevenueCat’s anonymous ID, or if provided by you, your internal user ID).
• IP address (for fraud prevention and regional analysis).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the App: To operate, maintain, and provide all features of the App, including enabling account creation and data backup functionality.
• To Manage Your Account: If you create an account, to manage your registration, provide you with access to your backed-up data, and allow you to restore it.
• To Improve and Personalize the App: To understand how users interact with our App, analyze trends, and develop new features, functionality, and services.
• To Monitor and Analyze Usage and Trends: To assess the effectiveness of our content, understand user engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
• For Analytics and Diagnostics: To track and analyze App usage, monitor performance, and identify and resolve technical issues and crashes.
• To Process In-App Purchases: To manage your subscriptions and one-time purchases, verify entitlements, and provide access to premium content.
• For Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries, provide support, and troubleshoot issues.
• For Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect our services and users, and to prevent fraudulent activities.
• To Comply with Legal Obligations: As required by applicable laws and regulations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with third parties only in the following circumstances:

• With Service Providers: We use third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, crash reporting (Sentry), and in-app purchase management (RevenueCat). These providers have access to the information necessary to perform their functions but are prohibited from using it for other purposes.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights or property of Mind Extension LLC, or ensure the safety of our users or the public.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when we have your explicit consent to do so.

4. Your Choices and Rights

• Account Information: You can access, update, or delete your account information and backed-up data at any time by logging into the app or contacting us at support@reliefmix.com.

• Data Deletion: If you wish to delete your account and all associated backed-up data, you may do so through the “delete account” option within the app; or, by contacting support@reliefmix.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal or retention requirements.
  

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. If you delete your account, your backed-up data will be deleted from our servers, subject to a brief grace period for data integrity and backup purposes.

7. Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

8. Links to Other Sites

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

9. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
